Developmental Neurology

The Institute of Developmental Neurology is part of the Beatrix Children’s Hospital and belongs to the Graduate schools Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience (BCN) and SHARE (Expand).

Research at the Institute of Developmental Neurology addresses mechanisms underlying typical and deviant neurological development from fetal life till early adulthood.

Major topics are:

  • Development of Diagnostic Instruments to Detect and/or Document Neuromotor Dysfunctions in Children
  • Early intervention in infants with or at high risk of developmental disorders
  • Pathophysiology of motor impairments in children
  • Development of children born after IVF/ICSI
