Kinderen met een congenitaal reductie defect van de bovenste extremiteit: effect van leeftijd van start met dragen prothese op functionaliteit

Het is tot op heden onduidelijk of introductie van een prothese op jonge leeftijd bij kinderen met een congenitaal reductie defect van de bovenste extremiteit leidt tot een betere acceptatie van de prothese en een betere functionaliteit. In dit project proberen we daar meer zicht op te krijgen.

Children with a congenital upper limb deficiency: effect of age at onset of prosthesis use on functionality  

It is currently unclear whether an early prescription of a prosthesis in children with a congenital upper limb deficiency facilitiates use of prosthesis in later life and functionality. The current project aims at getting more insight into this issue.
